2 years of (almost) trouble free motoring, go out to the car today and it's dropped all it's oil all over the drive Huge puddle and bone dry dipstick. Behaved perfectly on the way home, good oil pressure no warning lights or anything.
RAC are on their way to recover her back to Fernies. Warranty has 3 weeks left to run :-phew-wipes-brow:

Sorry to hear that - been over any sleeping policemen or other lumpy bits that might have disturbed the sump plug? Easily done.

Good luck

.mark - sorry to hear you've got a problem with the car.

Any noises etc before you last switched off? Agree with Hut, could be as simple as a sump plug thing.

Shame about the drive though ...

You'll need this thread I think

Cheers guys, no noises sounded peachy as it was reversed into it's parking spot (which has walls 3 sides why DO the neighbours look at me funny?).
Graham at Fernies thinks it my just be the oil switch failed - I'll leave it to the experts.
Trouble is they can't look at it straight away, so it's likely to be away for the weekend
AND THERE ARE STILL NO CLOUDS IN THE SKY!

Sorry to hear about your spill.
If you can get hold of some industrial cleaner called SOBO or known as rig wash. We use it offshore to remove crude & oil based mud, just let it soak for 1/2 hour scrub & wash away & it doesn't leave any marks or holes.
