New instruments

I am thinking of purchasing a new set of dash instruments with magnolia faces etc. Has anyone changed their speedo etc as I am thinking of fitting them myself and was wondering if it is too big a job. Also is there an issue with changing the mileometer to a digital readout? Grateful for any help.

Be very careful with the led bits etc as they are glued into the wood facia and you will have to replace them if you snap them off when adjusting the dash etc.

Also best to spray some sort of lubricant around the wooden bits as it can sometimes sheer off the laminated bits. Basically be very careful when flexing the dashboard.

If you have the old style black instruments then the speedo (and possible the other instruments) will not be compatible with the sensors and therefore misread.
