Bleeding Brakes

I am changing the brake fluid in an August 95 Chimaera this weekend. Can anyone assist with the sequence for bleeding the brakes. Also can you bleed the brakes with the pedal without damaging the master cylinder.Thanks

I do the ones nearest the master cylinder and work out. Yes you can bleed with the pedal, it is the normal way professional mechanics do it (3 man team and about 30 seconds per corner).
