...but one moment of embarrassment is better than a lifetime of ignorance!!

Where is the windscreen washer reservoir on a '98 Chimaera? This is the first one I've owned and I've been able to figure out most things but this one's beaten me!!

Lift the bonnet, at the very front, offside, ontop of those big fans, is a white (usually) cap, onto the bodywork. Remove this cap, and fill away.

If it's like mine there's a crappy tube feeding down to a Ford bottle in front of the radiator. They are "professionally" joined together with a bit of chewing gum.

If you fill right up to the top of the pipe you may find the joint leaks. Don't worry - they all do that sir

Fill slowly and keep re-filling as it's overflows quite easily - eventually it will fill up!

(Try not to lose the cap - but I'm sure you can get a spare from a tub of peanuts somewhere )
