After reading all of the problems every one seems to experience as part of everyday Chim ownership, I have just gone and bought a green 1998 450 from Fernhursts and should collect it on Saturday morning. Apart from a mobile phone and RAC cover what else am I likely to need to get back to the Southampton area.

Top Man!
They haven't sold another one have they?

You wont' regret it (well you might but don't worry about that for a year at least).

Hope that Sunday comes around quickly.

Got mine from Fernies last October and I'm still grinning and grinning and grinning.

Which one did you get?
I was up there last Friday and might have given it the once over before you got there on Sunday. (is the orange Griff still there?)

Big Al and everyone else,
Thanks for the welcome to the club, and it was the green one in one of the small underground showrooms behind the workshop and although not perfect it seems to fit the bill. The last owner was good at the mechanics but not too clever with keeping the interior too tidy, so I am looking forward to spending some time giving it some TLC. Can't make the meeting on Saturday but certainly joining the Hants TVRCC so should see some of you soon. Yes, the Californian Orange Griff was there and I nearly bought it or the Gialofly Yellow 450 which was there as well, but the wife thought I would look too much of a SOG in a bright one so I have to go for a subdued colour, but boy it sounds and drives good.

Hi Mike, really pleased for you. Don't think I saw it, but look forward to seeing it in the flesh soon at a TVR club near you.

Please, Please, TAKE IT EASY! Especially in the wet, at least until you get used to it.

Remember if you abuse it WILL bite you big time!

Give my regards to the lads at Fernies.

And may I wish you safe and enjoyable motoring.
