Hi bad company,
I replaced mine in the second half of last year before its MOT, not because they were sticking, but because they had come up as an advisory for being slightly frayed. I got mine from Belt-Up Safety, as have others, and they were very good, also a great price, £57.80+ p&p, compared to elsewhere. They were very helpful on the telephone when I had reason to call them. Personally, I went for black, but they have a choice of colours, and at that price, you could afford to change your mind at a later date.
Belt-Up Safety
The difference was very obvious between the tired, probably original, belts and the new ones. They zip back with 'enthusiasm', but the pull does not pin you in your seat.
I also fitted a pair of stainless steel belt extenders, which were very easy to fit as I was replacing the belts. They just hold the belt forward enough that the belt is within reach, and the belt doesn't rub up the carpet to the top mounting. I spray-painted them black so that they blend in against the black carpets and belts. Paul is a very good seller whom I recommend.

Just be aware that when you remove/unbolt the seat belt that bolts to the out rigger be careful as it will probably be rusted in and the bolt is very easy to shear.
Spray some penetrating oil on it a few days before you plan to remove it.
It happened to me and I needed a shop to drill the old bolt out and re thread the fixing hole.

The original belts on my Chim are pretty hopeless. They jam and won t move if parked on a hill and sometimes just lock up for no obvious reason.

I seem to remember from this forum like 10+ years ago, a post about adjusting the position of the seat belt reels a bit to stop this. If they are orientated slightly wrong, they do exactly this. I used to have problems and re-orientated the reel and problem solved.
Think if they are tilted too far forward or backward, it can cause the problem. Try loosening and then rotating the belt reel holder slightly, then retighten bolts and see if that helps.
