Hi All - delighted to be a TVR owner again. She's a fixer-upper so I'm just compiling the list of priorities to fix. But was taking pics of the car, and found a few things which I wanted to ask the peeps on here about, if I may smile Ta

Ok so next...hopefully not so stupid!!

What's this gunge and what looks like a connection between two fuse placements on my fuse box where it says 22? Normal??

Normal the gunge insulates unused live terminals.

You may get more response by not using the primate abbreviation for the car. I'm not bothered, but some get tetchy about it. wink

I think I read a similar question regarding those terminals in another thread. They are covered because they aren't used (the donor fusebox is Audi I believe).

They are link/busbars and yes live so covered in silicone/RTV so protect from short circuit mishaps etc

Good grief, mine are bare! Thought they were fixing points for something that was used on the original vehicles TVR took these from.
