Evening everyone
Can someone confirm if this earth lead picks up behind the swirl pot on a pre serp Chimaera.
Unfortunately I have inherited from late father and this is what I can see ?
There is a copper washer on the top swirl pot bolt which looks correct but need to make sure.
All the best
Chris

Do not attach the earth/ground strap to the long bolts in shot frown every time that strap is disturbed the bolt will require sealing with Shellac etc (bolt hole goes into water jacket) use alternative timing cover bolts but def not those WP bolts , add a gearbox to chassis earth strap too you can never have enough engine to chassis or to batt - Neg straps within reason obviously 2-3 would be nice however

You can add an earth strap to any of the empty bolt holes on the engine block, just need the right size bolt, which I can't remember except that it's imperial.

Many thanks 5/16 from memory so will use block tapping lower front. The copper washer threw me ! It looks like a way of sealing the swirl pot.
I have gathered your parts for the st150 brake upgrade also so thanks for that.
All the best
Chris
