Hi everyone just wanted some opinions on this.
1993 Chimaera which was my late fathers and not run since 2017.
Car garaged and am working through the issues.
Both brake and clutch pedals have misting and there is a slight weep on one of the unions.
Pedal pressure is fine for both and I will obviously change fluid and check full system.
Is this a straight replace for both ?
And if so can I remove the pedal box without steering column or is that making the job worse ?
Many thanks for any opinions
Regards
Chris

Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I realise your post is a bit old. I have a '95 400 and have the pedal box out just now. Have fitted new brake and clutch masters and servo also as it was not holding vacuum, I discovered when it was out (with a vac pump test). Then decided I didn't like some of the brake pipe flares at the masters so replaced those lines. I wouldn't like to have tried getting the pedal box out without removing the steering column but if replacing the brake master it's a must.
I hope of some interest. Dave

I managed to get the pedal box out without removing the steering column, you just need to undo the bolt holding the accelerator pedal to the box.
You also need to undo the clutch m/c and the brake servo (with the m/c), and take off the brake light switch (I broke mine), but then it will come past.
