TVR Ecosse or Dreadnought TVR?
Discussion
Im Edinburgh based and use HHC. Have tried a number of garages up here over the years and have never found somewhere I am truly happy with to look after my Chim (inlcuding one of the subject garages, PM for details).
Richard at HHC is very helpful and willing to spend time to discuss through things on the phone if needs be. Yes the trip down there is a bit of a trek but if it's just once or possibly twice a year it's worth it (IMO).

These guys get my money:

Can't rate them highly enough.
Out of Ecosse & Dreadnought though, Dreadnought are good.
Little pricey compared with XWorks though, I usually take on the drive for their work.

Just a heads up Dreadnought no longer prepared to service my Tuscan which they have done for the last 12 years and other TVRs for 20 plus years they (Claire) even refused to talk to me! I have now booked it in for service at TVR Ecosse on 16/05/2022.
Did they not change ownership or something a while back? Pass through Callander now and again and there always used to be a TVR or two parked outside but not for the last few years. The petrol price there is always high now too. Used to be reasonably competitive.Scottish TVR owners!
Hi I started My TVR working life in 1993,
After dealership work I started up my own TVR specialist In East Lothian.
Which I closed in 2007 as I went into the race car world full time..
Le mans, IMSA, World endurance championship..
Racing was fun but travel broke me and I retired from racing two years ago…
Since then I have another company but Ive also been doing some part time doing some TVR work in Scotland..
Ive got some limited capacity, I come to you and carry the work in your garage…
Ive enjoyed seeing old friends and cars I screwed the number plates on when it was new!
