Rear wishbones
Discussion
My chimaera had failed it's mot, biggest issue was a hole in the outriggers so this will need a repair. Outside of this the garages had some other points, this garage is not a tvr specialist just a normal garage. One of the points was the rear wishbones rubbers are gone (iron on iron) according to them, I'm trying to get a clear view of it but I can't get a good view of how it should be, it looks like mine is normal, one has some iron wear / rust dust. Can anyone check the pictures and let me know if it's ok or not?

If they are wear out I'm thinking to replace all wishbones complete, these are old probably original.
Are there some offers for complete sets, I only see loose wishbones and loose rubbers, rather have a complete set which only need to be mounted.
When all is open, are there some reasonable priced shock absorbers (complete set including springs & rubbers, front & rear), also these seems to be original / very old.

You are missing the thrust washers TVR C0192, these are used to stop the wishbone shunting along fore and aft, fitted to the standard bush. They were fitted on production from (I think) late 94 on all cars and 'should' of been fitted by any trader worth their salt if seen to be missing IMHO.
Edited to say, there is a presumption on my part that this is a MK1 version of the lower wishbone (as there is a MK2 version ARB bracket), then, IF all of the thrust washers are missing (front also) you need to check for one piece/ two piece top front wishbones versions (early is two piece with different camber setting). The top rear upright bush without thrust washers will shunt fore and aft 10mm!A@
