I’ve been looking to order some BPR6ES, but have seen some suppliers list a few sub-options as being applicable for RV8 at different prices - eg -cs1 (7678), cs4 (94811).
Can anyone advise what I need. Also, I’ve got a bog standard plug socket and socket set with universal joint etc. Will this do the job (thinking of tight #8) or would a specific plug tool make the job easier
Thanks
Andrew

I use a 1/4 inch drive set.
Slightly smaller then use the extension bars, supplied plug holder and knuckle joint to get at them. Works well.
I use the BPR6EIX rated plug but Iridium tipped ( very expensive) but worth it for lots of reasons imho.
I have no experience of other brands sorry.
Using the 6 rated plug iridium or not offers more heat into the heads so creating a fuller ignition of fuel and air. The plug gets hotter so transmits that to the heads as well as warm the engine quicker.
Not sure I’d use them on a hot engine on race day
but for our burbling about a great help to keep the combustion chamber and plug less sooted,,, all imho.

Anybody tried these flexible extension bar adaptors for plug changing or other hard to get at fixings?

Pointless sadly (although I dont like Sealey anyway) you dont have the access room to use this style, some owners make too bigger deal changing plugs on these cars 20 minute job IMO with the right kit of course
3/8 drive (3/8 my preferred size for any make vehicle) ratchet with flexi head short wobble extension and a plug socket is all thats needed

Worth the extra money I think.
Warning - if you have the car serviced by a TVR specialist warn them you have fitted iridium plugs and tell them not to change them, as their service interval is 5 times that of normal plugs.
Fitting them - easier if you take the engine out, but that may be overkill.
Perfectly possible to change all 8 in 15-20 minutes with a normal socket set, including a wobble adaptor for getting round corners.
I am no mechanic, but have never had a problem, even without taking the engine out
