Centre caps for Imola wheels
Discussion
I've recently tidied up my alloys and thought I'd share how I tackled the centre caps. My originals were the Oz M513 caps that had seen better days and the tabs had gone on a couple of them. A previous owner had applied plenty of expoxy to get them to stay put. Needless to say they looked a bit of a mess up close. I didn't fancy paying >£45 for a set of caps so ended up fabricating some.
I started with a set of four ABS plastic centre caps from a Toyota which measured 62.5mm x 57mm from eBay. (Not sure it's good form to insert eBay links but using those dimensions the ad can be easily found - price was ~£6) These had quite a deep tang at ~16mm. These fitted pretty well into the alloy recesses with the 15" wheels needing a bit of light sanding to make them fit snuggly.

Next I cut off the stops so that the centre caps fitted flush with the recess. See pictures below.

A little light sanding to remove any burrs. The plastic is quite soft so 240 grit is OK.
Finally, a bit of meths or iso-propyl alcohol to clean the plastic before applying a new TVR sticker. I think the originals were flat but I opted for a nice resin domed one that I hope won't fade to quickly. Again these can be bought online for ~£7 flat or ~£16 domed.

Push firmly into the alloy centre and job done! Before and after pics. Paint used was E-tech metallic silver with E-tech lacquer. Quite happy with that brand.
