Horn not working
Discussion
Mot time coming up and while checking things that don’t get used much I found that the horn doesn’t work, although it did a few weeks ago, at that time I started to investigate in the horn area after a failure only to find it decided to work ok again, so assuming it was a bad contact somewhere I mechanically operated three horn button full time while investigating the horn side cabling thinking when I touched the right connection the horn would sound along with making me deaf, but no luck, did some research online which gave some rather misleading info but came to the conclusion that the horn button should earth the coil of the horn relay which would then energise it And send power to the horns, but on operating the button I cannot hear or feel any relay operating, not having a circuit for my actual car despite several attempts to Identify which one might actually be suitable I wonder if someone could confirm that I am on the right track, normally I am ok with circuit diagrams although I do struggle with these TVR ones especially when a cable ends in some blank box along with several others with apparently any idea what or where these boxes are ???

Thanks guys, I will remove the cowl behind the wheel and see if I can access that red wire.
Penny, how / where do you locate info on block K as well as all the others, on the schematic block K has 14 pins of which 12 are utilised, there must be a simple answer to this somewhere ??
Paul you don't need to remove the cowling; if your wheel is the same as mine the horn button will just pry out with a small screwdriver or something and you can access the red wire.Good luck! Thanks for that, and yes that’s where the problem lies, the button itself has a poor contact from the push section to the steel spring that connects it to the inner boss, sprayed with contact cleaner and now working as it should, so fortunately I don’t yet need to fathom these circuit diagrams, but still feel that I should anyway ready for further investigations
Your're seeing Block K on the left (5 pins) and Block M on the right (5 pins)
The 2 pins at the top and 2 pins at the bottom are not anything to do with Block K or Block M
Here is a good breakdown of a MO264 fuse-box http://tvr.dspen.com/fusebox/mo264.html
Have you the diagram that's split into two parts?
Am sending you a PM, email me and I will send you a diagram that's all on one page, it's not all that clear but is good and could be used to number the better two part diagram
Thinking on, will also send the two part diagrams once I have your email
Forget the email, don't need it
Ok, got the job sorted
Can't upload decent sized photos here using Thumbsnap due to PH having problems with the image host
imgur host works a treat
