Interior Vents Alternatives?

Has anyone changed the drivers and passengers interior dash vents for something different from the original one? My driver’s one is broke, so with lockdown time thought might be good idea to change or even improve...

Is there any particular issue with the existing vent style, aside from that one being broken? I suspect if you have issues with airflow it's not down to the vent but the concertina hoses running to the blower. Some of mine where crushed almost flat and cable tied so hard they where strangled.

If you change the vent you'll probably need to do a bit of trimming and fabrication. There's a chap doing a restomod Chimaera who's looking at circular vents, but then he's looking to graft a T-car dash into his.

No issues with air flow, just broke but before doing change I try to check if there is any easy improvements possible, if that makes sense... Where are these vents from?

I think they're Cavalier Mk 1 but it could be that other Vauxhall's had the same.
