Best entry point for new cable from engine bay to dashboard
Discussion
I am in the process of installing a wideband lambda and the sensor is in the exhaust Y piece and the gaage needs to be in the dashboard.
This requires running the connector and wires between the gauge and sensor through the bulkhead. Needs to be about a 25mm hole, so what would be a good solution, use an existing hole or drill a new one if new then where abouts ?

Thanks all, I will explore all those suggestions, though probably not lancespars PO (wtf was he thinking ?)
I have a good length of cable to work with so any of those might work, but its got a big nobbly connector one end and a ecu box the other both hard wired so one of then has to go through the bulk head. smallest is the connector needing 1 inch hole to pass through.

I haven’t tried this but came across it on the internet recently.
Bluetooth solution ... need to find a place for the control unit but potentially no holes needed.

Heres the kit

This is the plug that has to through the bulkhead

Looked at various options suggested and ended up cutting a new hole under the MAF and used electricians cable pullers all sorted.

Just need a grommet now.
Thanks for your help folks.
PS Test run at idle and all running good with about 14.7 to 1 at steady idle

Damn, blast, too late, hole is already cut
Could have removed the terminals from the plug
No problem though, car might be a touch lighter
Oooohhh b&gger, I will post pics early next time.Could have removed the terminals from the plug

Looks like 35 mm grommets are rocking horse dung so will glass it and add sealant
Original Mini but last of with EFI have large oval bung for fuel pipes may be worth a gander , don't know dimensions though https://www.minispares.net/product/grommets/wya100...
