Has anyone got a recommendation for changing these plugs?

I've just been flicking through carbuildersolutions and haven't seen anything that I like. I need them fairly soon as I think they're the reason I have no fuel/temp gauge, so no China stuff.

Was looking at these on eBay but they look cheap and I wasn't sure that the gauge of wire would fit the pins.

Was just wondering if anyone had changed theirs and what they used.

Thanks in advance.

I've just ordered five 5 pin Tyco superseal connectors and a crimping tool, I think all of the larger stuff must be stuck in the Suez canal as I can't find any for sale hehe

Thanks for the suggestions but they've just not got what I had in mind. I was thinking more along the lines of this but I can't find anyone stocking them. I was just trying to do it all in one waterproof plug for neatness, I'll just have to separate them into four and label them up thumbup

The original connectors are Lucas Rists and you can find them on ebay in various sizes

Ooh, that's good to know. I have a couple others that are a little worse for wear that I might swop out whilst I'm there.

The connector body is unlikely to be an issue so you could just fit new pins.
As has been said they are Lucas Rists. Penny posted a link to a supplier in another post just yesterday.

Yes, as already identified they are Lucas Rists TTS.

If you want to combine all the connections in one housing have a look at the Tyco Mate N Lock connectors - I have used these successfully and they are of good quality; they can also be waterproofed if required.

Have a look at 3 Way Components (either website or Ebay shop). I have no vested interest with them but their service is great. They have got both Lucas Rists and Tyco amongst others, in fact looking at your earlier post regarding Superseal I think you might have already found their site!!

:-)
