Chimaera roll cage fitting.
Discussion
You need to make sure that whatever you choose, it is actually tall enough to be of any use.
Many of them, when you sit in the car, only come up to your shoulders.
Mine is from RollCentre Racing in St Ives, Cambs.
The company was run by Martin Short when I bought it, the ex-TVR Tuscan Challenge driver.
The workshop was full of Moslers when I visited....
The uprights are exactly behind the seat, which helps to keep your head safe in the event of a roll over.
The good thing about the roll bar is that it doesn't require welding - it clamps to the chassis.
It's not to full race spec - a full race cage has to cover the entire passenger compartment and be welded in.
