Any idea what these are for.

Hi, any ideas what these two things are for.
After taking the body off.
At the rear end, on top of the chassis are two, what look like spacers, covered in rubber type silicon.
I’m not sure what it’s for, or if I should put it back on, when I put the body back on.

My 2000 year chassis.
Rollbar pick up points. no mastic on mine.
Did yours have a roll bar fitted at some point and this was an attempt to stop water soaking through carpets maybe. They don’t rub on your under body do they?

Classic chim, thank you for your reply.
A previous owner may have had a roll over bar fitted.
When I was taking off the body, the roll over bar brackets inside the car, had a bolt in both left and right brackets.
Thank you for your answer.
I won't need to re-fit them.
