Hi All,

I”m not sure if you are at all interested but I couldn’t resist getting a mate for the Chim!

Well, here goes....... Ford Falcon XR6 turbo (with a few subtle mods). Yes it is a 4 door sedan but with a little bit of “wallop” available. For those who know, this is an easily modded engine and this one already pushes out approx. 400hp. Definitely the one to use when it is raining and I don’t want to get the Chim dirty! Also a better bets for the local drags. This is how I bought it and zero changes made so far.

The inline “Barra” 6 cylinder turbo engine:

Ugly but a flyer. What do you think?

If it is a lookalike for the Monaro then you bought a good car. Enjoy.

Very nice.

Some years back I had a Holden Commodore 5.0 V8 estate. There were only two in the country.

I do like a sleeper!

Thanks for the positive/ fun comments! I was not sure whether to post - wrong forum etc

It is actually a straight, inline 6 cylinder with a turbo from factory. If any of you are interested there are a load of YT videos about them as they are deemed a bit like the Cossie was in the 80s! My wife calls it my "bogan" car! The engine is an absolute peach and easily modified to make some serious power. Part of me wants to implant it into the Chim - now that would be a beast. But it is rather long and tall and I don't think it will fit under the bonnet.

No matter - I'm off to have some fun on the way to work!
