Brake pads run off the edge of my rotors!
Discussion
Heya,
The previous owner has upgraded the front callipers to Hi-Spec Billet-4. The disc has been changed too (I think) as it now sports grooves, which I don't think were standard.
The thing is... the brake pads slightly overhang the edge of the disc. As they wear, the pad is left with a proud edge on the top.
So, what do we think...incorrect disc size or incorrect mounting bracket.
Does anyone else have a Hi-Spec Billet-4 conversion and if so, what size discs are you running (and where did you get them from!)
As always, your help is greatly appreciated.
Mark.

Yep I’m running billet 4 from Hi Spec with 285 discs (I had 260s mounted previously).
No problem with pad overlap.
Using EBC Ultimax2 DP143 pads for Volvo 120/140/180/240/260 series/P1800.
Bought a kit a few years ago - straight bolt on … nice stuff.
Not doing track days or pushing too hard but am not suffering from the overlap.
