After much banging, drilling, bashing and cursing, I finally managed to get the cat out!
I used the window method as I had done with the pre cats and centre silencer and once again the actual cat was rock hard/ solid.

The exhaust does sound a bit like a truck and is definitely not like a V8 LS or Coyote. It is better and has a distinct roar as the revs rise which is way better than before. Temps are way down under the bonnet - definitely a plus. I still have a “hotdog “ and silencer at the end of each exhaust that must be pretty effective. Cruising at 100kmh is quite pleasant with zero drone. No pops and bangs though! Jeez, I do miss that from my previous Cerbera.

Interesting - is that just sheet metal folded etc?

What does it sound like in comparison? I hope it is a "deeper" burble?

I used to hear an old battered Range Rover drive through our village and it sounded better than my Tvr!
Don’t know what exhaust it was running but cherry bombs seem to be the preferred choice for sound many years ago.

I was only talking to an ex rocket ship Tvr owner the other day about this.
A local chap has a really lovely P38 4.0 with a sports exhaust as I noticed the shiny tail pipes.
It’s a standard engine but has this deep rumble but very balanced sort of thing, coupled to the auto box It’s about as sweet a sound as I’ve heard in years.
If I ever catch a word with him I’ll ask as it sounds like slightly muffled Cherry bombs.

Cheating bd biggrin
That’s nice work that.
I sold a de Catted Y as mine seemed slower mid range ( better with Clive’s Y )
This is different altogether.
Be great too try this back to back with a hollowed out one on a dyno so I can work out the level of cheat you have employed. thumbup

Show us your intake mods. I bet they are standard too hehe

No need for all that, just take it to Dom, it will come back with 330 Bhp on a 450 standard lump and heads if you pay him enough. All this money people wasted. Dom can do it like magic. That’s Catted by the way so add another 10 on top. Beats me!
