Need a top Front Ball joint Know they come from a Saab 900 looked at one from local motor factors think it was delphi but the ball part is much larger, need to know the manufacturers who make an exact copy.

Here you go for Motaquip the part number is VSJ388, Quinten Hazel QSJ1004S and the Saab genuine part is 8993321.

Hope this helps.

More help required

Have been to 2 local factors and looked at Quinten Hazel, First Line, Delphi, all three of these have an uprated ball joint (Larger) anyone know who still makes the old style with the slim ball joint.

I remember a thread in the distance past about ball joints and some had less movement on them, and came apart, might be worth checking against the old ones before fitting.

Too late! I fitted them today and took the car for a very short test drive as I only finished at 8.00pm.

Both sides were tough to break the taper.

I bought the OEM SAAB part from Neo Brothers and they look identical and went in fine.
