Access with flat battery

Thought i knew how to get in in the event of a flat battery but was proved wrong today. The method given in the bible does not refer to my car which is a 2000 model. Can someone e-mail the answer please.

I've since fitted a remote boot release that will open the boot, once the car is unlocked.

Not to worry- managed to get a battery charger hooked up to the Anderson connector for power
