From what I've found so far I believe have the Gemini 1002 alarm with the 1059 proximity sensors and 2339 remote.
I also believe this is standard kit on the 1993 430 Chim from the factory.

So now to my problem.

I went out to start my car as it hasn't be run for a couple of weeks. She started first turn of the key smile
Unfortunately after about 5 minutes the alarm started to sound and then the engine cut. When I bought the car I was informed the alarm was rubbish and best not to set it so I never have so when it went off I had to run in to find the fob. Pressed, alarm stopped, 5 minutes later it went off again.......repeat until neighbours are not happy.

In between siren blasts the car wouldn't start so to stop it all I pulled the fuse and disconnected the battery. Charged battery up over night just in case that was the issues. Put it back in the car tonight and she started and roared into life. Thought I'd take her round the block to keep things turning but not long after leaving the driveway the alarm started to sound again but no affect to the engine. I drove on, randomly with the alarm on then off. By now people must have thought I'd stolen the car.

Has anyone got a wiring diagram for this alarm or has anyone had this issue and found a solution ?

Thanks
Colin.

Hiya Colin, I have the same system on my 430, but so far no problems (fingers crossed).
Wiring diagrams seem to be scarce to say the least, why not try these people, they have a good support page, but not sure how much will cover the gemini, haven't tried them myself, but worth giving em a ring.

When the alarm is going off whilst you're driving, are the hazards flashing too? Might be the internal battery in the siren going wonkey if it's just the siren sounding.

Both are at the top of my to do list (which seems to be lengthy at the moment frown ). I've also found this site which has information and some fixes http://www.geocities.ws/pbtn6/alarm.htm#top hope this helps future searchers too.

It's getting interesting/weird confused
I went looking for the battery you mentioned spaceman, took the siren out, opened it up, no battery ?????
Put it back together and put it back in the car. Alarm sounded, pressed fob, alarm off but all indicator lights on permanent. Opened the doors, shut doors, checked bonnet and boot all shut. Pressed fob again and the doors locked. This time with just the drivers side indicators on. Press, open, drivers side off, passenger side on.

No siren but by this time it's dark and I'm freezing. Disconnected the battery again and went in for dinner.
Am I right in thinking this is a bad connection somewhere wether power, ground or signal ?

Also if I drive with some or all of my indicator lights on (permanent, not flashing) am I running a risk of getting pulled by plod ?
