How you doing there in HK? My Scottish trip this year will be a much shorter version due to unavoidable personal circumstances. The full-fat NC500 version will need to wait another year I'm afraid.
All good thanks Peter. The 500 had a few issues with over-heating, given the horrendous humidity and temps were get here in the summer. But having replaced the original (rather slim) fans with a couple of over-sized SPAL fans, the difference has been amazing. Sits anywhere between 87 and 91 degrees (per the ECUmate), even with the A/C on.Shame about the scaled-down trip up North for you; however, it will always be there waiting for you! I still have some great memories of the NC500, now immortalized in Sprint!
Did you manage to get yoru driving course in before RideDrive disappeared?
I did get the RideDrive course in before they closed down. Very good day - although I started with a spectacular puncture within 4 miles of home when I ran over a cyclist's repair kit and embeded a mini socket extension in the tyre tread! Arghhh!!! Luckily my local tyre mas was only 3 miles away and I was soon fixed up and on my way again. Ironic as we'd just spent 10 mins checking the condition and pressure of the tyres before we set off!
Yeah, the NC500 will have to wait a little longer for my TVR to grace its tarmac but as you say, it'll still be there. Good luck with the Griff in HK Terry!
