Another option instead of the carbon plenums + div ECUs
Discussion
Alex gave me this idea and its a bloody good one. Scarp the standard intake, plenumbase and plenum and get one of these:

Cheap as chips at 265$
or this race style one:

Very expensive at 859$
Then get this:
Clicky
Injectors, TB, ECU all in one box no wiring loom or fuel rail. Self learning ECU. All you need is to sort another dizzy and it can control that too, possibly coil packs but i havent solved that one yet.
Best thing is it will outflow even the triple plenums and is very neat!
Thoughts?

I recognised it straight away, makes my mouth water
Alex is a bad man,,, thank god for Alex
I'm so paranoid everything you read about anything is all sales hype so I now believe nothing until proven to me.
That's clever salesmen for ya,,,,
It's a really lovely looking thing in the flesh and appears to be made by precision.
It's not stupid expensive if I remember ?

Just spoke to TA performance in the states. He said the Edelbrock intake was s
t and flowed ok for the 3.5 liter. He recommended the offenhauser intake instead. Summit racing has it for 360 bucks:

Im thinking this offenhauser intake and the Fitech ECU would simplify the build AND give loads of power + throttle response. And with Clive Fs spaghetti exhaust I'll be pushing 401 NA hp! Suck it Peter!!!!OleVix said:

Fantastic idea and it takes the brave to take on Peter but I think you the man for the job.

It's adaptive too is it not!
Adjust mixture etc
Awesome isn't the word!
This is the one isn't it.
I really hope so.
Is it just a really big clever carb,,,, I love carbs

So the main thing is what cool, funkie air intake can you create to feed it proper cold air.
Massive this is.

My main problem is finding info on what intake flows best. I think a french guy on here used the offenhauser on his griff 500 with great results...
these intakes were designed in the 60s for the 3,5 liter buick, or maybe the design was for chevy and just copied over for the BOP 215?
The Harcourt intake is a single plane race style and will perform rubbish on low rpm, great on top end hp... not something for the daily driver
