Hi,

I have my engine back from V8 Developments (Hooray)

I also got him to dip the Rocker Covers

So I decided to treat her to the Ceramic HT Leads..... but they need crimped.
My question is, where do I get the crimper from?

Cheers

How does that work?
Do you crimp it with that between pliers?
Will that give enough leverage?

Crimper I used was this £6.99 Ebay and these straight crimps £7.99

Needed to have 3 straight crimps as the leads only come with right angle crimps crimper worked well bare back about 5/8 of an inch of the inner spring coil fold it over and then crimp hardest part was getting the r/angle shrouds on the leads but I used a smidgen of washing up liquid on the rubber and it slid on ok.

The msd tool works ok, ive just finished a set of the super conductor leads. Not sure its suited to every manufacturers leads and terminals though.
I found you had to wind the tool right up in the vice to get a good crimp even though it advises not to do this.
Your welcome to borrow it as long as it comes back to me. Should be cheap to post, pm me if interested.
