Fuse Board

Does anyone have a fuse board that they'd be willing to sell? Alternatively, does anyone know what vehicle it came from? I've heard it said it's a VW item?

It may be this:

"it looks like a 443 941 822 A from an Audi. This box was used on the 80/90/100/200/Coupe/S2 etc from the 1982 Coupe right up to the Cabriolet in 2000 and only on a VW in the Fox (not the new one) in the US market."



However, the locating tab in the centre at the bottom in your pic is not on the Audi one so may have been ordered by TVR separately. MO264 is the TVR part number.

Thanks, it's very close but not quite the same. This is the rear of the Audi one:



And this is the TVR one:



Note different part numbers, TVR one has a connector in the bottom right corner that the Audi one doesn't and the rows of connectors in the middle at the bottom are different.

This type of fuse box has layers of tracking inside the box which provide interconnection between the relays and fuses on the front and the connectors on the back so whilst those two boxes may look similar from outside they may be completely different inside.

It can take many hours with a circuit tester to work out where everything connects...ask me how I know.

Douglas Valley Breakers have a couple of Chimaeras they are dismantling. May be worth a call. I git a replacement heater control box from them.
