Hi, they were done in situ. Time wise I spent around 3/4hrs a day for 4days. Started off with the wiper motor and then on to the other bits.

Is there anything can be added to the surface to preserve the hard work for a while, wax?
I'm guessing the Y will get too hot to protect. Nice job OP.

I'd love to know what tyres are on the car, they obviously have excellent grip!

I've done this, you can't really stop the rusting process but you can give it a quick lick with wet and dry then solvol every 6 months and it looks good thumbup

Such a low blow, new Diff, I ain't accelerating anywhere fast whilst it's this taught, and as for RAINSPORTS,,, if like me your slow and old they have a compliance that's very rewarding and a grip level that allows even me to feel like a driving god,,
And yeah I'm looking at more tuning mods now laugh.

You can feel the new diff clamp the wheels more when accelerating so when one wheel goes light it doesn't spin up and cause a major moment yikes quite so easily.
Your right though Richard, combination of new diff and sticky big tyre's, ( slightly larger circumference ) than standard
And it's gripping big time. thumbup
Takes my measily 350 ft of torque anyway smile

Be warned,,, your car will feel increasingly normal on these tyre's,,, sort of main stream! I'm loving the slow speed local stuff now, floating over the bumps,,, haven't had wheel spin in a month scratchchin out of junctions when turning right,,,, sort of miss that hehe
I could overcome the tyre's but I'd have to be acting like a get away driver,,, and my neck can't take that. hehe
Love en Chilli thumbup
