Does anyone know the thread size for this tapping. I'm copying this one I found on Google, fitting an 1/8"npt temperature sender and would like to purchase a reducer prior to starting this job

If the brass sender unit is 1/8 my guess would be next size up, 1/4?

The pressure switch is bigger than 1/8, the gauge sender is 1/8

Looks bigger than 1/4 to me. The back story for the photo says thats an 1/8 npt temperaturs sender, the same as I'm trying to fit

I'm confused, are you saying this (yellow arrow) is 1/8 or 1/4 (looks 1/8 to me)?

Either way red arrow looks like next size up, so 3/8 if it is 1/4?

The yellow is 1/8" npt. I need a reducer the same as the one in the photo but I don't know the size of the socket in the oil filter housing

Thanks for the advice, I was hoping that both would be pipe threads but M20 1.5 to 1/8"NPT is available, better known as a sump plug adapter. I shall make a purchase
