Immobiliser then

Right then tiv won't start ignition lights on but nothing happening
Alarm flashing lights but no audible sound
Now thinking it's the immobiliser with a little prompt from you guys
So it's behind the dash ?
Can I bypass it ?
Do I replace it and what with
Do I get a auto electrician out , if so does anyone know of one around Newark

There is a bypass mod you can do which I think is relatively straight forward to do.
Hopefully the fine chap who produces a diagram etc will see this.
If you need an auto electrician he must be versed in these cars or he'll be there all week!
You could always contact your local Tvr specialist who can advise you.
I'm sure Powers Performance and Lloyds etc etc can do something with it.
It's really time someone offered a reasonably priced service to sort this Bain in the side of Tvr owners out. Someone we all come to trust and can do it with their eyes closed.

I followed the guide to bypass mine. Recommended.

If nothing else, it established that the immobiliser WAS the fault.

If you have the later Meta immobiliser system, a replacement immobiliser plugs into the existing loom (I bought mine from Abacus). You could of course replace the whole system, but then it's £££.
