Hi,

This may sound a silly question!
I have bought another plenum which I will repaint and fit to my car when i eventually get around to tidying the engine bay.
For some strange reason I decided to poke a needle through the vacuum take off stub on top of the plenum.
It appears to be a blind hole and yet the distributor vacuum advance pipe is connected on my car....

I checked mime and that too appears to be a blind hole! Do TVR not use the vacuum advance? Both plenum chambers in question are from a 500, maybe the other engines use it?

Thanks, Chris.

Hi Chris, its not a blind hole, just very small. I doubt you`d get an average size pin through it.

The hole is tiny and was actually found blocked on mine.

Thanks for that.

I will check again, it must be a very small hole!

Regards Chris.
