Windscreen upper seal

Decided to order another upper seal from racetech as mine is looking a bit battered. Took the old one off and it had been cut to change the profile, the new one fits badly on the vertical sections by the doors....could'nt be a***d to faff about with it the other day so muttered a few for f**** sakes and left it.

To be fair the windscreen could have been fitted a little more evenly but has anyone else found that the seal needs some modification to fit?

Yes I understand this was common.

Had a new screen last year and used rubber conditioner on the old seal rather than messing about with a new one. Luckily was in good nick.

A TVR/TVR part needing modification? Never.
