help no speedo

as my title sayes my speedo has given up it started playing up last year only working after about 30 mph .i recently changed the speed sensor which didnt make any difference not working at all now got the sensor very close to the pick up ring on the diff any ideas plz .

I am assuming you would have said if the car cuts out when idling towards a junction as well as the speedo not working.

If it does, then the connection between the speed sensor and from the speedo may not be tight/fastened/connected properly. It is located beneath the arm-rest.

Also, make sure the gap between the new speedo transducer and the diff cog id the right gap.
