Hi all,

As per title really. Not for me but for the future in laws, they are very fond of my T350T and they want in on the action! Does anybody know any history?

http://www.judgeprestigecars.co.uk/used-cars/tvr-c...

My two penneth, it is top money for a 4 litre and mileage would need to be kept down so as not to affect value too much (they do want something which is going to retain its value, where better to buy than TVR?). No Leven switchgear, am I nitpicking or do the enthusiast owned cars tend to have these little upgrades? Thanks in advance.

Looks a nice car if the chassis etc is in good order, a little expensive but would need to know more about its history to make any judgements.
I prefer to see cars that have been used more as low mileage isnt always a good thing.
Im personally not a fan of the leven style bling and think the cars interiors look pretty good as standard, even with the plastic vauxhall switches!

Chassis chassis chassis.
If your money minded then yes you'll have to keep it low milage to maintain its value/rarely.
It's at the top end for a 4.0 but you do appear to be buying a pristine car. If the chassis is like new and everything checks out as you'd expect with such an unused car then this could be a great car to own for years to come.
This car should drive like new. No shunting, no slack transmission and presumably the engines wiring will be in fine fettle. Diff/gearbox/engine should feel virtually like new if everything's as it should be.
Surely more an investors car with a mind on showing it rather than driving it if you ever hope to get a return on it.
If I just wanted to get into a Tvr without many of the hurdles this car might just tick that box but it's lack of running will be a risk until you've owned and driven it awhile.
If it's been stored properly and kept at a decent temperature I'd expect most the rubber components to have survived well but I'd expect gaskets to leak within months of owning it if I was also hard at it driving it.
Garage queen and there's nothing wrong with that otherwise these examples would be a thing of the past. Cool car thumbup

Cheers guys. We are nipping through to Shmoo tomorrow in Leicester to have a look around the one owner raspberry 450. Will let you know how we get on. I also like the look of the red 500 at Great British Classics, which appears good value if its a nice one.
