Just bought a Chimaera 400HC

Hi Folks,
Newly registered on forum and looking for best advice. I took the plunge and just bought a Chimaera 400HC. 57 years old from Midlothian.
I always wanted a TVR since a young lad. Only experience so far of driving Fiesta diesel and other similar cars etc. The thrill of a nice sunny day today
and my 1st drive ever without a roof over my head on a long country road home was beyond words. I felt as if I was 20 years old today on my way to
meet the woman of my dreams.
Now with the car parked up at home and time to ponder over my purchase it feels a bit scary but exciting at the same time. I'm no mechanic, just an
average Joe with the usual top up oil, washer fluid, check engine coolant, tyres etc. All the boring modern car stuff.
Most of the members here seem to know names, parts, issues to look out for and remedies. To be honest it makes me feel a bit lost and 'what have I
done' and 'how will I recognise a problem and how to fix it'
I have some spare time on my hands and keen to learn all it takes to maintain and look after my new hobby. Only had the car for 1 day but no obvious
issues other than slightly cracked dashboard panel. Also pulling up handbrake is tougher than any car I've ever driven but holds secure on 3rd rung.
I could warm my hands over bonnet after run on a cold day as well, I take it this is normal ? T5 gearbox but will take some getting used to.
I have a large folder full of receipts still to go through with a fine comb. I have the original leather bound owners handbook and several copies of sprint
magazine to look through. Last owner also supplied some parts such as silicon hoses for future installation.
Any help or advice on anything, useful tools etc. or any other reading material would be appreciated.
