As per the title, both the front nearside indicator and corresponding wing repeater have stopped working. The nearside rear is working but at a faster than normal blink rate, as is the dashboard LH indicator light. This in my mind would normally suggest that a one of the bulbs has gone.

I have done the easy bit and checked that although not working the repeater bulb is in fact ok.

Before I start taking the inner wing access plate off to get at the bulb unit, my question is :- are the front bulb holder and side repeater wired in series so that if the front bulb fails then the repeater stops working as well? scratchchin

No they are not in series.

You possibly already had the side repeater shorted out or the connector dropped off, and now the front bulb has blown, causing the faster flashing, the issue has become obvious.

Thanks for the replies.
On further investigation, both nearside front and side repeater bulbs are tested as being ok, but are not flashing when operated. Rear does work, but with a high blink rate.
Now suspect a wiring fault. Car gone to local TVR specialist for further diagnosis.

Fast blink usually means one or more bulb is shorted out or failed.

I agree, but have checked the bulbs and bulb holders and the are all ok. Can only now think there is a wiring fault somewhere, possibly under the dashboard. Car electrics are not my strong point so have handed the job over to my local TVR garage.

Just to complete this thread.
Fault found. Broken wire in the loom down and in front of the radiator.
Thanks to RPB Motors, Callington, Cornwall. clap
