Cleaned up the plate under the brake reservoir cap so the low brake fluid warning is now working but discovered (after a lot of centre trim removal!) that the handbrake warning switch has been snapped off. Glad it wasn't the lamp because I haven't seen how you get them off the pre-facelift panel,

I see TVR parts and Racetech both sell them for £5 to £6 but want £7 + for P+P!

The nut is 3/4 and just about reachable from above with a spanner. Held the connectors with pliers and managed to pull it all into the car. Would have been very awkward to fish back up afterwards without a ramp.

Is there an alternative or other model part? Wallways parts were tipped in another thread but seem to have gone under.

I suppose I could buy other parts I may 'need' to justify postage. whistle

Nice one! I should have thought to search for a brake light switch because they work in a similar way; press to break a cct.

The plunger looks like it may be slightly shorter than the one from Racetech:

But it doesn't matter I suppose as long as the plunger is pressed enough to break the circuit.

Arrived today and fitted. £2.75. biggrin

I thought at first it was too short but then noticed some monkey had bent the little right angle on the bottom of the handle. I'll start another thread about sorting it for other's reference.
