Chimaera Bonnet Gas Strut

Hello Folks,

Has anyone fitted gas struts to the bonnet of their Chinaera. If so, I would be grateful if you would let me know which ones you used and how you fitted them.

I find the factory sungle strut a bit of a pain as I have to hold the bonnet whilst trying to clip the strut to the fixing on the bonnet.
