I think Mr. Poxon runs these.

Reading his blog he seems impressed.

I am also running on the ad8r tires for almost a year now.
They do a great job, nice and responsive. (big improvement coming from toyo proxes t1r)
Did laps at spa and the regular spirited driving.

loads of grip, do not wear very quickly in comparison to the others 888 etc.
the stiff sidewall delivers, quick turn-in, good feel what the tires are doing.

the only downside is, standing water at high speeds can be a bit scary

Rainsports were my first choice Iain, but they don't do them in the sizes I need unfortunately...

Edited to add:
I'm looking for 225/45/16's for the front and 245/45/16's for the rears...... and would like to try something other than T1R's....

I'm running these on SP12s and I think the grip is excellent. Tracked in June and very pleased. Normal roads excellent, damp just as good but never tried in standing water.

I'm running these.

Absolutely love them. smile

Used them on a recent trip to Scotland. Experienced all weather's.
I've also completed a few track days with them now.

I'll definitely be putting another set on when they wear out.
