Looks like an exhaust off job to change the filter and the flexible fuel lines both directions, is this the norm? cheers, John.

If you have arms like a spider monkey then no.
If you like practising your anglo saxon again no.

but....

dropping the anti-rollbar and removing the exhaust makes it so much more civilised easy.

No matter what you do you will still end up with petrol in your arm pits.

Managed to do mine without exhaust removal, terrible job though.
Seem to remember not being able to assemble outside of car with hoses already on for some reason.
Maybe it's the clamp bolt I had trouble with as most of the work up there is single handed.

Yes its tricky but I changed mine with exhaust and ARB under in place. Near side rear wheel off, two spanners to loosen the bolt on the bracket and the filter will slide out with enough play to change.

Of course you can remove the ARB and the exhaust but its probably just as quick to leave in place and spend a few more minutes fiddling.

If you need to change the fuel hose upstream to the line then its def exhaust off.

Thanks Phil, I think I'll take exhaust off and can grease the u/j's at the same time, cheers, John.

Hi Phil, got it apart, just waiting on new hoses. I am going to change the way the bracket clamps the filter and make it a fixed bolt so I only have to deal with one nut to change it, cheers, John.

Be nice to move this but I don't think there is any room above the pump?

Does everyone use normal hoseclips [which mine had] or the mikalor clips? What did tvr use from new? cheers, John.

Proper fuel hose clips are the way to go, don't follow Tvr!
