Just looked up my old Chimaera in the government vehicle tax website and it has not been Taxed or Mot'd since I bought the Tuscan 10 years ago frown

Track car maybe?
Very odd and I’m sure quite sad for you.
If you can find some old pics someone might still know of it.

Maybe it went abroad.

New owner probably registered it with a private plate

If the search for a plate returns data, then that is the number plate on the car.

There's an 'export marker' field if it's gone abroad, officially. 2 of my old cars have been exported, a Lotus Excel SE and a Chimaera 500.

There's always the owners who register it SORN and then drive the car around in Europe (usually Spain, but also Cyprus is popular because they drive on the left), thinking they'll get away with no MoT or tax. Which they usually do. frown
