Just to say thank you to all the people who have contributed to the forum.
From reading the posts i was pointed in the right direction. Don't under estimate the help it gives to late to the party owners.
12 Volt planet had the 100amp new type fuse along with the 40amp & all the fuses & relays needed as spares.
I also got 3 & 4 way spade connectors to add to the loom without touching the original.
I can't add any more to what has already been said from other posts other than corrosion.
So i will say thanks again & will leave a couple of tips.
1. I read about a stubourn captive bolt, i just tap with a small hammer for a few minutes until the tone changes. This breaks the crud on the thread, handy for dissimilar metals. Never failed to get an exhaust stud out.
2. I use syringes with copper slip, red rubber & silicone grease. Handy for small amounts & dont leave a mess on the floor.
I also use them for brake fluid, glycol etc. The Chim is easy to reach with a bottle but many cars & bikes are not.
Before CoG posted his fancy a pint, i did not remove my wiper bottle, i cheated & sucked out the contents with a syringe & tube. I then blew out the old fluid using air pressure from the syringe & flushed through with warm water.
Sorry i can't buy you all a pint, just keep up the good work.
