I know this has been done to death but one question I have is does 2 x 12v +ve go to both fuse board and starter? Or to fuse board and on to starter.

My one cable goes straight from the battery (in the boot), under the car to the starter or solenoid (I haven't a clue which).
The feed from the starter area to the fuse board is then via the original cable that runs from footwell battery to starter.
Somehow the electrons know to travel in the opposite direction.
All a complete mystery to me. getmecoat

The starter cable usually isn’t fused as it pulls a hell of a lot of current when it cranks the engine, especially when it’s cold.

Correct.

One to the fuse board via a 100 amp fuse, ( check this, it may be lower).
One more to the alternator via a 100 amp fuse

Thnx. In my head it's 80 amp to fuse board.

OK. One to alternator one to fuse board. Alternator one will be upgraded, what gauge wire to fuse board?

From memory they are all the same.

TVR didn't use a particularly heavy cable and when I moved my battery I upgraded the cabling slightly although still used the original one to thefuse board.

My alternator cable was 16 mm, I’m not sure on the fuse board supply but it’s probably the same if it was fused at 80 amps. No harm in stepping up a size though just to be safe.
I chose 50 mm for my starter cable.

It seems 50mm is most common from searching.

Earth point, where did you attach, fuel pump... Etc

60 MM is cheaper here than the 50 MM you have linked to https://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/752...
