Immobiliser removal???
Discussion
Being I have my car in pieces, just wondering if it's worth doing something with the old immobiliser? It's been fine to date, it's just I'm very conscious of old electrical systems with the potential to let me down.
Leave it in as it's been ok, or, get rid before any issues? Can getting rid cause it's own problems???

I would be inclined to leave it there as it is working but design/wire in a quick way to bypass it.
Knowing you have a simple roadside fix will likely guarantee it keeps on working for ever.

Good idea though a mod in place for when the inevitable happens.

...thats the sort of thing I was wondering about.....im thinking about 'break down prevention' solutions!
If the alarm detects anything I think it will bugger up your attempt but if it can be by passed and still work then surely COG could do a GOG MK2 version using a relay so not effecting people’s Insurance worries. Isn’t this what the big boys do when installing new Ecu.
I better check mine as I have Mbe and no start problems since fitted.
