Handbrake warning lamp has been troublesome for a while and finally gave up the ghost, so everything taken apart to get at the switch. When I got the transmission cover off I uncovered this -
Difficult to make out in the photo, but it reads -
"Go to the f***ing stores and stop f***ing the job up. It's no wonder this place can't get organised. Now f**ck off."
and then in different handwriting -
"Sorry you feel like that. OK I will"
The rivets holding the gaiters on look to be the wrong size and it's all a bit slapdash in there, which might explain the comment, but it must have been a troubled day at the office that day. Bit of history I guess, and a maybe explains why no two are the same.
