Carbon Canister Hose Connections??

Just a quick and hopefully simple query, just put body back on car and doing all pipe work and hoses and went to refit the carbon canister and unsure of the hoses. One hose goes to plenum, one to fuel tank but I have another short hose on it, where this go?

I will get a picture later today.

Your tank breaths in and out through that pipe but the fuel vapour gets trapped in the carbon. Whilst driving the ECU will chose when to purge that carbon filter by opening a valve so plenum vacuum can draw air through that pipe, through the carbon, and into the plenum to burn of the vapour trapped by the filter.
