Alarm fob

My alarm fob has started to play up got my second one to try that and it doesn't seem to be synced. Does anyone know how to 'reconnect the fob to the system, they both have new batteries the one that has started to play up seems to be the switch on the circuit board inside the alarm fob, I'll probably need a new one for this.
