Hi folks,

Has anybody ever tried wrapping their cars? By which I mean wrapping instead of painting?

Can it be done, given the curves etc?

Cheers

It couldn’t be a few years ago, but maybe that’s changed.

He has had his done and it looks good. I'm sure he will post some pics for you with details of who did it etc.

You can see a pic in his profile to give you an idea.

Mine is sprayed with Fulldip, then lacquered, rather than wrapped. I see wrapping as using sheets of wrap applied to the car’s panels.
Works out a lot cheaper than a respray, but doesn’t colour the door shuts or under the boot or bonnet.

Or in mid-day light

Cost of my reflex colour with sparkle and roof was £1200, plain colours and no roof a lot cheaper. Finish is as good as your preparation. Www.Matt-pack.co.uk

they can indeed be wrapped i have had the front of nicks chim clear wrapped with a heavy duty 3m product to protect against stone chips and i would think the front grille etc. to be the worst bit.
